Darren Reeves began his career in the healthcare industry in 1988.  As Darren’s expertise in medical device regulations and compliance grew, so did his understanding of the complexity facing manufacturers. As a result, he formed DP Distribution & Consulting ® in 2000 to help business leaders with medical device regulatory consulting challenges. Susan Reeves later joined Darren in 2018 as a medical device consultant, just in time to address many urgent pandemic needs.

Together Darren and Susan have continued to grow the team and the business. DP has served more than 200 companies both nationally and internationally, specializing in quality and regulatory support for the medical device industry.

Darren has established himself as a medical device regulatory consulting expert. While his regulatory knowledge is second to none, he is equally interested in aiding his clients’ profitability. Darren has found success through speaking in simple terms, offering leaders wise business solutions and treating people respectfully.

Darren has built an expanding team of medical device consultants with complementary skill sets, as well as an extensive network of associates. As a result, DP is able to address most quality and regulatory compliance needs.

Susan oversees DPDC operations as well as providing medical device consulting to clients on a variety of quality, regulatory and procedural topics. Administration and creation of solid infrastructures to support organizational goals and client teams are areas of passion and strength for Susan. At DP she provides Quality System procedural guidance for all sizes and classes of medical devices, and helps provide on-site and remote FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and ISO 9001 audit support and training for clients.

Previously, Susan served in the education field in both the public and private arenas. From the responsibility of managing curriculum development, classroom dynamics and student engagement, to serving for 10 years as an Assistant Principal, she is able to identify gaps in existing systems and training models and propose clear steps for addressing those gaps.

Brian specializes in medical device regulatory consulting, and helps clients understand and implement systems and processes that ensure consistent quality outcomes. He guides clients through procedure development, UDI/GUDID implementation, audit support, labeling guidance, and staff training for a broad range of medical device consulting topics. His expertise in quality systems, PPE manufacturing and NIOSH submissions have been particularly helpful during the pandemic and continue to serve our clients well.

Brian’s experience, training skills and customer focus enable him to tailor a client’s experience to their needs. Because he understands both regulations and business constraints, he can guide clients to the best outcome.

Trisha serves as DP’s administrative, human resources and quality system medical device consultant. She also oversees DP’s network of medical device regulatory consulting partnerships and manages client projects. Her broad business experience in leadership, compliance, process and training equip her to provide personalized medical device consulting through quality management system development and training.

Trisha highly values relationship development to build rapport and trust with her client teams, ensuring relevant and individualized medical device consulting. She clarifies the correlation between regulations for quality and best business practices to help teams use their quality system to meet both purposes.
